At Animal Equilibrium we use Therapy Wraps , which uses 96 high powered LEDS imbedded in a flexible pad which easily wraps around limbs, or can lay flat over a large body area. This system combines 2 specific wavelengths of light known for their therapeutic effect. It allows easy application for both tendon and joint injuries, and for use over large areas of muscle.In addition we use the Photonic Torch . The torch uses the application of a specific wavelength of light emitted from a high powered LED torch. The light is applied to acupuncture and trigger points to stimulate the body’s own healing responses for a desired effect. This system is likened to acupuncture without needles.

How it works – based on 4000 published medical studies
Healthy cells have an electromagnetic field around them which when damaged reduces in frequency. This reduction in frequency then slows or eliminates the regeneration of the cell. When light of specific wavelengths is applied to the damaged cell, it sets in motion the energy to accelerate cellular regeneration.

Canine & Equine Applications -
The Therapy Wrap is an ideal way to help dogs/horses suffering from arthritic conditions in the spine, sacroiliac joints and hips and joints of the limbs along with tendon and ligament injuries.
The Torch can be used in place of needles and an acupuncture program designed using the torch on key points for up to 7 secs for any range of conditions or ailments. The Torch can also be used for more specific application to injured tendons and ligaments around joints in dogs and horses.

The Therapy Wrap offers much in the way of stimulating circulation as a pre-competition/race warm up. It is also desirable as a post-race recovery treatment.
Dogs only need a short application time due to their size. It is recommended that 3 to 5 minutes is sufficient for one session. Sessions can be repeated 2 to 3 times a day.
With horses the application time can be up to 15minutes, in large muscled areas and up to 10mins around limbs.
